PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure your treatment is as effective and comfortable as possible, please follow these guidelines:

At least 6-12 months before treatment:

Stop oral presciptions of Isotretinoin (Accutane)

Stop tweezing, plucking, threading, epilators or waxing. Shaving up to 3 days before is okay

At least 3-7 days before treatment:

Stop shaving and grow hair out at least 1/8 inch (about the thickness of a nickel)

Stop (OTC) or prescription topicals: Retin-A, tretinoin, or adapalene

Stop tanning or topical exfoliants (glycolic acid, salicylic acid)

Hydrate! Drink water and/or electrolytes (minerals such as sodium, potassium and magnesium)

Moisturize with a non-fragrance lotion containing hyaluronic acid and/or glycerin
